Lora and I have been friends for over a decade. We’ve adventured Lebanon and Thailand at each other’s side and when this world gets crazy I dial her number to reaffirm truth. When I visited her last month we found a park with a speckling of daisies where I could capture her family aglow in the heat of our midwest summer. In return she is making my baby in the womb a quilt to keep him warm when he is greeted by the turning of summer to fall. Love this friend for all seasons.

Kent is our pastor here in Indy and we so appreciate his vulnerability and sincerity in leadership. He often shares about family life from the pulpit and, having children about the same ages, we can so often relate.

My parents just moved back to the U.S and are house hunting! So glad to have Nene and Poppi closer to grandbabies, but missing their old digs in the UK! Our trip there a year ago created a yearning for more. 

Reminiscing on some memories from our trip there a year ago....

We only had a couple days in the city so we hit a few of the "musts:"

The Tower of London with its blood soaked biscuit Raven connoisseurs 

Hampton Court with its great halls, rose gardens, and topiary maze

Borough Market for its meat pies and mushy peas

and of course Big Ben and Changing the Guard.
