Austin popped the question during a snowboarding trip last winter. Fitting that we would shoot their engagement photos encircled by icicles. In a few short months I will be shooting more white on their wedding day!

Cabin by the Water

 A night away before med school classes resume. 

Heat and light from kerosene lamps, wood burning stove, and campfire,

crescent moon ornamenting charcoal sky,

cold, cloudy breath,

shimmering embers,

red long johns,

a mouse friend scurrying over head.

So passed a winter's night in the cabin by the water.

We fairly danced through the fresh fallen snow to McCord Candies to watch golden amber syrup spun into creamy white, ruby swirled peppermint sticks.
